If You Didn't Know...

Just a little FYI for anyone who doesn't know. But if you look at our World Clock thing, it says our dream time in Fiji. Well, Isaac and I had our honeymoon there and would go back in a second if it didn't cost so much and wasn't so far away! We went to this little island called Nukubati where they had accommodations for up to 14 guests, or 7 couples. No kids were allowed on the island or anything! When we were there, there were only 2 other couples. And the 6 of us had 44 staff to ourselves. We hiked all over the island, went snorkeling, fishing. Everything. It was so great. They caught our food for us daily, so everything was always fresh and soooo amazing. Some things were very very different, but I tried it anyways and ended up loving it! They had some cow and chicken roaming the island just in case they didn't catch anything that day, lol. But anyways, that's our "Dream Time."

2 Days in a Row!!

Second day in a row. I wouldn't get too excited yet though!

Abram went to the doctor today for his 6 month check up. He's 7 months, but we couldn't do his 4 month until he was 5, and they just waited 2 months for this appointment. No biggie. What is big though is my son. Biggie Smalls as Bern calls him. He weighs 22 pounds 3 ounces. But that's also with a diaper and his clothes on. He is also 28 3/4 inches long. He's in the 90% for his weight and 80% for his height. His height has been pretty consistent every time, but I guess he's finally growing into his weight or something, because normally he's in the 95%, but not today! Today he was in the 90%!!!! Must be all that crawling he's been doing. Speaking of crawling, who really wishes for their kids to get mobile? All he does now is get into trouble. He's knocked over the dog water more than once and gotten into the dog food a bunch of times. He's even managed to eat some of the dog food! A pretty big downfall to him crawling is that he might end up a little mentally challenged because he falls and hits his poor head so much!!! He's got a pretty hard head though. Not only is it solid, but he's stubborn too. Sooo stubborn. I don't know why I'm surprised. That's the trend in this family. Husbands, dogs, why not kids?! It's not all bad to have him crawling though. I have to chase after him more, so that means some exercise! I can always use that. And it's really cute to see him get excited over something and haul ass across the room to get it. It just means he's growing up, and so fast too! I never really had time with him as a little baby, he hit so many milestones so fast and grew even faster! I can't even believe he's 7 months old. He's closer to a year than birth, as Bern has said. Crazy! Something that just won't go away though are these damn ear infections! We found out at the doctor today that he has a pretty bad one in his left ear and the beginning of one in his right ear. These are his third for each ear. I had them like crazy when I was younger. I ended up having 3 sets of tubes put in because of them. I predict the same fate for this little boy. Poor thing.

But moving on to something pretty serious. My name is Christina, and I'm an addict. I'm addicted to Diet Dr. Pepper. I didn't have any at my house today and I really wanted some on our way back from the doctor, but Abram was sleeping, so I went to Arby's drive-thru and got 2 huge cups of it. I had planned to save one, but junkies don't save, and now I'm already almost done with the second cup. Do they have rehab for this kind of thing?

Ok Ok Ok Already!

So I've been MIA for a couple of monthes. I don't know why anyone is suprised?! But I'm here now, and don't shoot me if I'm not back for another couple of monthes! Things are going ok. I just stayed at Bernadette's house for the past two weeks because of surgery on her hand. Let's just say I for sure know that I don't want any more dogs. I'm even thinking pretty seriously about getting rid of my dogs. Kind of. Maybe if I didn't just spend our whole bonus on Bill's legs. But anyways, things actually went really well, and it's not like I'm really even gone. We're still together 24/7. This coming Thursday, my mother will be here for 5 days. She's going to help me clean my house. I think we're all pretty aware of the condition of that, but that's what mom's are for. Right? Oh, and she wants to see Abram. But the reason she is coming to help, is because a 6 days after she leaves, Isaac will be here! We don't have any crazy plans. None that you want to know about at least ; ) Just stay home and try not to get pregnant. That's the main goal of this leave, no more babies. Not for a few years at least. And I think I actually have Isaac hooked for another one down the road because he said that if I get my tummy tuck and boob job now, then he's not going to pay for it again in the future when we have more kids. Although if Abram keeps being Abram I won't have time, energy, patience or money for another kid! But anyways, Abram has a doctor appointment tomorrow sometime. I have to wake up early and call on that! Have a good night all.
